Pre-Ski Season Workout – by Londin
When I was younger, I tried to go skiing, it was fun, even though it was really hard and I fell a bunch of times of course. However, I never tried it again, it is a great workout thoough. I am not into the cold weather so much anymore. I found this workout though, it is by Londin Winters, let me introduce you;
Londin Angel Winters, founder of Metaphysical Fitness and author of “Loving Your Weight Off”, takes you through a killer workout to get you into top shape both mentally and physically to rock your best ski season yet.
This workout session is only 30 minutes, which is great. We can handle 30 minutes – Right! ;). Londin begins with some calm breathes, this is really important and I love that she has included this into the routine. This routine only needs a short workout band and a mat.

I am going skiing for the first times in years, I will have to do this workout a lot
This sounds like a fun workout! It’s amazing how much better you can be at a sport when you’re in good physical shape. I noticed a nice improvement in my golf game after I got into doing Insanity and other Beach Body workouts.
That sounds like an awesome workout. I need to get into a better routine.
Starting to work out again is on my list of things to do and this sounds like a great program! I’m going to have to check it out!
30 minutes we can handle 😉 It’s just ME getting into doing it.
With my kiddos headed out to school by 7:45am, Monday-Friday, I have the perfect timeline to sneak in a 30 minute workout at home. I really think I’ll take a look and see how this works for me!
This is really awesome! And I’m about to get into skiing this year for the first time. I love the calm breaths too.
what a good workout to get your muscle ready. I am always in the mood to try a new workout
I have not heard of Tuned Up Body before but it sounds like a great program. Definitely helps to do a program that you enjoy too!
My teachings are Tuned Up Body, Londin’s are different from mine, she has her own program. We are not affiliated with each other. However I am sharing her with you because the way each of us approaches health and fitness are similar.
Very inspiring and motivating! I really enjoyed the video!
I like her view of working out. If we stay tuned to our bodies, getting fit will be much easier.
I can definitely handle 30 minutes 🙂 I’ve never heard of exercise tailored to Ski Season but I can see why it makes sense since Skiing involves Legs and Arms
This is an awesome workout. I used to be a big skier when I was younger. I’d love to get back into it.
Living here in the midwest, skiing is huge. I admit I haven’t been since moving back here. I am committed to giving it a go this winter.
I’m far too klutzy to ski (I used to as a kid but haven’t been in years) but this looks like a great workout for all the muscle groups!
Someday I will institute a work out session. until then I will continue running myself ragged after two tiny people 🙂
Oooh, I need to do this! My family skis a lot during the winter & each year it’s getting harder on my body! Maybe this will help!
I love the title of her book… what a totally different approach! Normally people try to make you feel bad for “letting yourself go” but can you imagine how everything would change if we just loved ourselves as we lost weight. I need to pick up this book!
I believe the body is a major teacher too. I’ve just gotten over a surgery and my body really does let me know now what I can and can’t do. And I am listening. 😉
Listening is so important!
