I found this to be quite interesting. Anyone who cares about the well-being of their body and especially those who body build, or even someone like me who loves to be toned. We are always wondering about our muscle quality. Do you ever wonder about your own muscle quality? You should, it is important. Muscle also has memory. So, for example like me I do take breaks from fitness. Not intentional, but life and health issues get in the way. then I get side-tracked, lose motivation you know, that vicious unproductive cycle. But it is ok, because once I get back into my routines, it just takes about 30 days to get back on track and notice progress.
Anyways, muscle quality is really important. I found this device called Skulpt, how cool huh. Well, it measures the quality of your muscles, I really would love to get one so I can show it off to you and how it works. But for now, I wanted to tell you about a study done about the quality of muscle nationwide, broken down by state.
Key findings from the report include:

Despite America’s Obsession with Glutes, Data Reveals it’s Actually the Nation’s Weakest Muscle
SAN FRANCISCO, CA— Skulpt, the world’s first fitness device to measure body fat percentage and muscle quality, today announced findings from its “Fitness State of the Nation Report” around the most muscular states and which specific muscles in each state are the strongest. The study looks at over 600 Skulpt participants from across the US broken down by city, state, muscle quality and body fat percentage. Overall, the research found the strongest muscles in America were in the upper body including triceps, chest, shoulders and forearms while the weakest muscles in America were in individual’s glutes and calves.

The top four states ranked by muscle quality included Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee

In fact, both glutes and calves ranked as the weakest muscle group among Americans compared to upper backs and arms, which ranked among the highest
